چکیده
Abstract: Background: Actinomycetes are unique and ubiquitous organisms in nature historically holding first position as one of the major antibiotic producers. The aim study was screening pre-treatments soil, marine, mangrove samples for isolation producing actinomycetes. Materials Methods: were isolated from pre-treated using different media. They assessed antimicrobial activity by cross streak agar well diffusion method. Colony characteristics, growth pattern microscopy performed partial characterization isolates. Promising isolates identified 16S rRNA genomic analysis deposited GenBank. Results: Study led to 109 actinomycete In microbiological studies, 19 showed a potent inhibition against E. coli, 17 S. aureus, 10 exhibited K. pneumoniae B. subtilis each, 9 C. albicans. results revealed that most belonged Streptomyces genus. Less than 10% non-Streptomyces genera. broad-spectrum all test 6 soil designated D, D2, F30 (brown pigment), TS13 (pink), TS14 (green), TS4 (cherry red), 5 marine isolate M1, M7 M10, M14, M11 (yellow). Conclusion: Our findings highlights West coast forest Maharashtra attractive sites knock out biologically active undiscovered species actinomycetes having potential produce novel antibiotic. Bioprospecting Red Sea Coastal Ecosystems for Culturable Microorganisms and Their Antimicrobial Potential
Microorganisms that inhabit unchartered unique soil such as in the highly saline and hot Red Sea lagoons on the Saudi Arabian coastline, represent untapped sources of potentially new bioactive compounds. In this study, a culture-dependent approach was applied to three types of sediments: mangrove mud (MN), microbial mat (MM), and barren soil (BS), collected from Rabigh harbor lagoon (RHL) and A...
